Measuring 150cm x 200cm, this handmade flatweave wool rug combines stone and charcoal grey with natural ivory, warm taupe and softly layered neutral tones.
The design is distinguished by an all-over honeycomb composition formed from repeating hexagonal medallions arranged in structured rows. Within each hexagon, stepped stars, hooked forms and stylised tribal motifs create intricate geometric detailing, while fine ivory outlines clearly define the individual panels.
Stone grey establishes the dominant foundation of the rug, complemented by slate, charcoal and pebble-grey variations that create natural depth throughout the field. Ivory provides crisp contrast across the honeycomb outlines, motifs and border details, while warm taupe, greige, mushroom and subtle beige undertones soften the overall palette.
Decorative borders at the top and bottom incorporate repeating tribal symbols and narrow horizontal bands, providing structure without competing with the distinctive honeycomb field.
