Rug & carpet cleaning
Our job is simple to say and careful to do: bring back the beauty, colour and texture of your rug. Every piece is assessed first, then cleaned using methods matched to its fibre and construction — gentle enough for a delicate Persian or silk piece, thorough enough to lift years of dust, stains and traffic from a hard-working family rug. Colours revive, texture lifts, and the rug keeps its softness and shape, even after a full deep clean.
There's a health dividend too: rug fibres hold dust and pollen, so regularly cleaned rugs mean cleaner air at home. We clean all rugs, wherever they were bought — collection and delivery available — and most pieces are back with you, dry and fresh, within about two weeks.

Rug repair & restoration
A Persian rug must be repaired with great care, or the repair costs more than the damage. Every restoration passes through six hands-on stages in our own workshop — carried out by artisans, not machines:
We assess the rug's condition first — the type and extent of damage, whether from wear, moths, pets or other causes — and advise you honestly, including the risks, before any work begins.
The rug is thoroughly cleaned before repairs begin, removing dirt and stains — which often reveals the true extent of the damage beneath.
Damaged areas are rewoven, holes patched, loose threads secured, and edges re-fringed or overcast — whatever the piece requires.
The most delicate part of the craft. Our artisans select high-quality wool or silk threads matched as precisely as possible to the rug's original colours and patterns — so the repair disappears into the piece.
Edges are bound or finished after repair for durability and a neat, faithful appearance.
A final cleaning removes any dust from the repair process, and the rug is inspected one last time for quality and consistency before it comes home.

Insurance valuation & damage assessment
Most household policies only cover a fine rug properly if it has been formally valued — without a written appraisal, an irreplaceable piece can end up insured as ordinary contents. Bring your rug to our store and our specialists will provide the insurance valuation and written appraisal needed to secure sufficient cover, evaluating the rug's thread count, age and origin.
And should the worst happen, we're on your side of the claim: we'll assess the damage and prepare a professional report for your insurer. Our team is skilled in appraising rugs of many types, helping you claim successfully.
Home consultation
Choosing a rug from a photograph is hard. Choosing one in your actual space — against your floor, your furniture, your light — is easy. Our team visits your home or office with samples, free of charge, and helps you find the right size, colour and style in the room where the rug will live.
