Bring warm neutral colour and traditional geometric character into your interior with this Beige & Grey Tribal Diamond Kilim Rug from the Trunk Collection. Measuring 200cm x 300cm, this handmade flatweave wool rug combines soft beige and natural ivory with stone grey, warm taupe and gently layered neutral tones.
The design centres around a rectangular panel of elongated diamond medallions arranged vertically through the rug. Each diamond incorporates stepped geometric forms and smaller tribal symbols, creating a structured composition inspired by traditional tribal weaving.
Soft beige and ivory establish the light foundation of the rug, balanced by stone grey across the outer border, medallion outlines and geometric detailing. Warm taupe and greige provide tonal transitions throughout the field, while charcoal, mushroom, sand and subtle camel tones introduce additional depth and variation.
Layered borders give the design a strong architectural structure. A decorative guard border of smaller geometric symbols surrounds the central panel, while a wider outer border features repeating tribal emblems positioned at regular intervals. Natural variations in the wool create subtle tonal shifts across the surface, enhancing the individual handcrafted character of the rug.
Handmade in India from wool, the traditional flatweave construction showcases the finely woven texture of the fibres. Hand-knotted fringe at both ends completes the artisan appearance.
