Measuring 290cm x 200cm, this handmade flatweave wool rug combines warm rust and terracotta with soft cream and ivory, complemented by muted sage green, teal, dusty rose, brown, taupe and subtle grey-green accents.
The traditional tribal design features a structured all-over arrangement of large stepped geometric motifs, each incorporating distinctive central diamond and medallion forms. Smaller diamond motifs are interspersed throughout the field, creating visual rhythm and intricate detail, while a repeating geometric tribal border frames the composition and provides balance and definition.
Rust and warm terracotta establish the principal colour palette, contrasted by areas of cream and natural ivory that lighten the composition and emphasise the geometric patterning. Muted sage green and teal introduce subtle cooler tones, while dusty rose, earthy brown and taupe add warmth and depth. Grey-green accents provide further tonal variation, resulting in a richly layered multicoloured palette with an authentic handcrafted character.
