Measuring 291cm x 77cm, this Afghan flatweave wool runner features a warm combination of rust and terracotta, cream and beige, with complementary multicoloured accents that enhance its traditional woven character.
The geometric design is arranged in a linear composition extending along the length of the runner, with repeating angular motifs and traditional tribal-inspired forms creating rhythm and visual movement. Multiple narrow geometric borders frame the composition and reinforce its elongated kilim design.
Rust and terracotta establish the dominant warmth of the palette, appearing throughout the geometric framework, borders and woven detailing, balanced by cream and beige across the lighter areas of the design.
