A handmade Esfahan rug from Isfahan in central Iran, with a cream field of scrolling vines and flowers around a teal blue central medallion. Navy, rust, pink and blue flowers fill the field, and a wide teal border with cream cartouches and floral sprays frames it.
It is a handmade rug with a fine, short wool and silk pile on a cotton base and ivory fringes at both ends. This size suits a living room in front of a sofa, a bedroom, a study or an entrance hall.
