Measuring 290cm x 208cm, this handmade flatweave wool rug combines soft cream and natural ivory with warm rust and terracotta, complemented by a varied palette of earthy multicoloured accents.
The traditional tribal design features a strong all-over arrangement of repeating diamond and lozenge motifs extending across the central field. Rows of multicoloured diamonds create a rhythmic geometric composition, interspersed with smaller tribal-inspired motifs for additional detail. Multiple contrasting geometric borders frame the field, adding structure and definition while reinforcing the rug's distinctive tribal character.
Cream and natural ivory establish the principal colour foundation, appearing prominently throughout the ground, inner borders and lighter diamond motifs. Rust and warm terracotta form much of the contrasting geometric framework, creating definition and warmth throughout the design. Additional multicoloured accents introduce further depth and variation while allowing the cream and terracotta combination to remain visually dominant.
